Rick Griffith – His Designs Matter

Joel Warner wrote a great profile of Rick Griffith for a January 2011 issue of Westword. It’s definitely worth a re-read, or if you are not familiar with Rick and his design studio, read it and check out the design exhibit currently on display at the Denver Art Museum. Also check out Griffith’s definition of graphic design which he spent 18 months crafting.

 

 

 

 

Another such definition is on the wall at Design Lab and available for take home in the thousands of newsprint pieces available at the museum. This one defines design as process, product and communication.
