H20 Features Colorado and National Artists at Rule Gallery

Water. Source of life. Symbol for fluidity, purification, reclamation and equanimity. In a Summer of record-drought across the United States and a wildfire season in Colorado like no other, water takes on new meaning. Rule Gallery in Denver brings together five artists, three from Colorado and two of national reputation in an exhibition aptly title H20.

Here’s a sneak peak:

Mindy Bray, Spill, 2009, cut felt, 120 x 48 inches

Christine Buchsbaum, Most Fires are Innocent, 2011, inkjet print on aluminum, 40 x 60 inches

Christine Buchsbaum, No Words Feeling, 2009, inkjet print on aluminum, 14 x 20 inches

Nathan Abels, Lemuria, 2012, acrylic on linen, 16 x 20 inches

The exhibit also features Diane Christiansen and Richard Tuttle and the featured image above by Margaret Neumann called Ascendant, oil on canvas.
