GunnyLove Website Takes Local to the Internet

Small businesses often have difficulty keeping an active and viable Internet presence. Many are overwhelmed by the technology and just too busy keeping their brick and mortar storefronts open to think about reaching out to a broader, tech-savvy audience. In the Gunnison Valley, two Western State College (now Western State Colorado University) alumni (Delaney Keating and Mallory Logan) saw a need and an opportunity and created the website gunnylove.com. It’s a collective Internet-based sales portal and economic incubator for small, small businesses and entrepreneurs. Small businesses and individuals can test their ideas, get response and feedback, see how their product is received before going “all-in” on a business plan. Handmade, upcycled and recycled goods can find an audience of locals, visitors and those who have never heard of Gunnison or Crested Butte. Items for sale include everything from apparel to furniture to woodworking.
