5th Annual Free Summer Concert Series Heats Up July in Ridgway, Colo.

The fifth season of The Ridgway Concert Series begins July 5th and continues each Thursday through July 26^th. The four show series is free to the public and features top notch national acts. The events are family friendly and include a children’s activities area onsite hosted by the Fun Lady! Expect great views, great music, lots of dancing and tons of fun. Food & Beer will be available, and the audience is welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers and picnics, but please note that no glass is allowed in the park. The free series is presented by the Town of Ridgway and funded entirely by sponsors, fundraisers and donations. The on-site beer sales, which feature a variety of micro-brews from local breweries, help to fund the series.

After the Show: Each night starting at 10pm, after the concert in the park, the opening act will play at the Sherbino Theater, just two blocks from the main stage. The cover is $5 and there is a full bar at the theater. Always the place to be late night!

Radio: All four Ridgway concerts will be broadcast live on KVNF Community Radio (90.9, 89.1 FM) beginning at 7pm, and will be streaming live on the web at www.kvnf.org.
